Whether it is flexibility, autonomy or great pay rates, let everybody know. <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><a style=\"color: #ff6600;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bookingkoala.com\/blog\/hiring-first-professional\/\">Finding applicants<\/a><\/span> is not a problem, it\u2019s finding the right one that takes a lot of patience.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">For starters, focus on your job description title and keep it simple so that there is little to no confusion.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">What we did was \u2018Looking For <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><a style=\"color: #ff6600;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.schmicko.com.au\/apply-as-a-mobile-car-detailer\/\">Sydney Mobile Car Detailers<\/a><\/span> (Attractive Pay)<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">We mentioned the job title Car Detailer<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">We stated that it\u2019s Mobile, so having a car is needed<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">We included Sydney to ensure that they are within proximity<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Attractive Pay, a quick selling point to drive interest<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">As for the job description, don\u2019t worry too much about your company description, but focus on how everything works. Being a part of the automotive detailing industry, this was a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bookingkoala.com\/blog\/how-to-start-a-service-business\/\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">new business<\/span><\/a> concept that we were about to launch. So for us, our description included a \u2018How It Works\u2019 section in numbered dot point format to illustrate the process involved with how you were assigned jobs. Just a few steps mentioned just to demonstrate that it was as easy as steps 1 to 3.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3205\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bookingkoala.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/54443739_s.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"827\" height=\"579\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.bookingkoala.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/54443739_s.jpg 827w, https:\/\/www.bookingkoala.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/54443739_s-300x210.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.bookingkoala.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/54443739_s-768x538.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 827px) 100vw, 827px\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Secondly, we listed all our benefits such as Attractive Pay Rates, Be Your Own Boss Autonomy, Flexibility \u2013 Choose Your Own Hours and so on in dot points as well.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">Next, you should be asking a batch of screening questions to help filter out qualified and non-qualified applicants. For example, some of the basic questions we used were:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Do you have a Driver\u2019s License and a reliable vehicle?<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Do you have a reliable phone with an active sim plan?<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Do you have a Criminal Record?<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">How many years of experience do you have as Detailer?<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Don\u2019t be afraid to throw in a bigger question in there that tests their knowledge, for eg. What process do you need to follow to <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><a style=\"color: #ff6600;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.kingofmaids.com\/blog\/clean-car-guide\/\">detail the exterior of the car<\/a><\/span> or how would you wash the car if it was under direct sunlight? Yes, they could possibly copy and paste a response from Google, but this simple question could be enough to separate job applicants that just spam every ad with their application without looking at the job description. On the bright side, those that do answer the question can be classified as the more \u2018serious\u2019 applicants who have shown some commitment towards your job ad.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Also finally, don\u2019t forget to set a positive tone. Make it sound fun and exciting to the reader \u2013 entice them to apply and be intrigued to join your super team.
