font-size: 14pt;\">In all honesty, one of the key reasons why I began <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><a style=\"color: #ff6600;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.kingofmaids.com\/\">King of Maids<\/a><\/span> was to make money.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">I was only 19 when I started, and I wasn&#8217;t sure what I wanted to do in life.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">One thing I knew for sure was that I didn&#8217;t want to be broke.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">I called one of my good friends and asked him if he\u2019d like to <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><a style=\"color: #ff6600;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bookingkoala.com\/blog\/how-to-start-a-business-7-steps-to-freedom\/\">start a business<\/a><\/span> with me.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">We got together, went over our future goals to see if they aligned with one another.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Once we knew we were on the same page, we got straight to work.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">When we reached 5 locations (currently we service 6) and over $5,000,000 in revenue, that became an exciting moment for us both.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">We started with only $6,000, took no funding, and we were growing at record speeds.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">People loved our services:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">As you can see, it was no secret that our <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><a style=\"color: #ff6600;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bookingkoala.com\/maid-service-software\/\">cleaning business software<\/a><\/span> was the key to rapid growth.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">People often think it is a marketing tactic, and the software doesn&#8217;t work as well as advertised; however, that is just nonsense.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">The software made our brand look better, it added value to the customer, and it made everything easier for everyone at our company.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Plus we weren&#8217;t building the software for anyone but ourselves at the time, which meant that it had to be perfect for us to grow as quickly as possible.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">By the time we got the idea of offering it as a service, it had become the &#8216;Perfect Platform To Grow A Service Business&#8217; and all by coincidence.<\/span><\/p>\n<div class='bg-light rounded-5 my-30 d-flex overflow-hidden align-items-center row'>\n\t\t<div class='col-lg-5 p-0'>\n\t\t<img alt='bookingkoala' src='https:\/\/www.bookingkoala.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/bookingkoala-feedback-9.jpg' class='img-fluid px-30 pt-30 pb-lg-30' width='750' height='754'>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class='col-lg-7 p-30 text-center text-lg-start'>\n\t\t<h4 class='h5 fw-bold mb-30'>Join Our Facebook Community<\/h4>\n\t\t<a href='https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/groups\/bookingkoala' target='_blank' class='btn btn-primary border-0 btn-lg'>Join Facebook Group<\/a>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">Interested buyers<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">We didn&#8217;t advertise our growth at the time, but other services found out about our software.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">They booked cleanings to test it out, and some went as far as applying for job openings to see as much as they could.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Then, they started to make offers.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Some offered a few thousand dollars, and some offered hundreds of thousands of dollars.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">We didn&#8217;t just get offers from other cleaning services.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">We received offers from dog walking services, moving services, and many others.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Either way, we declined all of them.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">At that time, we also didn&#8217;t know that we were sitting on something so amazing, but it didn&#8217;t matter.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">We were focused on other things, and the entire time our software was getting more advanced.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">The idea of BookingKoala is born (2017)<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">We finally figured out that BookingKoala was special.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Instead of selling it, I decided to team up with the head developer who built the software for King of Maids, and we re-designed it for others to use it.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">That moment, BookingKoala was born.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">We had a fantastic launch, our beta testers loved us, and the investors started knocking on our doors daily.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">We even caught the eye of the people who helped build Facebook and Slack:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2580\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bookingkoala.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/TI-Investor-1200x677.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1200\" height=\"677\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">This isn&#8217;t all a big coincidence.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">It&#8217;s <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><a style=\"color: #ff6600;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.filipboksa.com\/about-filipboksa\">because I was 19<\/a><\/span>, had no money and no experience that allowed for something so amazing to be created.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">I was forced to answer over 40 customer calls every single day from 8 am to 7 pm, seven days a week for over a year straight, because we couldn&#8217;t afford to hire anyone to replace me.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">My partner had to do the same thing with providers.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Because of that, we gained so much experience and so much knowledge.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">That is the only reason something like BookingKoala can be made, with real knowledge of every part of the company.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">That is also why I am such a huge believer in working hard and never giving up.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Things genuinely happen when you work hard and focus on one thing at a time.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">You are becoming a master of it.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">You never know when you could be building the next big thing, it could be happening right now.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">At one point I didn&#8217;t either.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">BookingKoalas goal<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">It&#8217;s been over seven months (this was written in Jan 2019) since we went live and it&#8217;s been a privilege being the CEO of BookingKoala.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;
